Introdution to Hydraulics and Pneumatics, their applications, advantages,disdvantages.
Hydraulic oils-their characterrstics and properties, hydraulic power pack, pumps.
Compressed Air, Air compressors, Air Dryers, Filter Regulator, lubricator.
Actuators - linear & rotary. Types of linear & rotary actuators.
Valves - poppet, slide, & their types. Types of valves. Methods of actuation of DC valves.
Practicals :-
Direct actuation of single acting cylinder in pneumatic system.
Indirect actuation of single acting cylinder in pneumatic system.
Direct actuation of double acting cylinders in Hydraulic & pnueumatic systems.
Applications of various valves (pressure, directional control, non-return & flow control) to control the cylinder movments.
Application of differential circuit.

INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION WITH ELECTRO-HYDRAULICS AND ELECTRO-PNEUMATICS

Course Contents :-
Introduction to Electro-Hydraulics & Electro-pnumatics & thier applications.
Hydraulic & Pnumatics components ues in Electro-Hydraulics & Electro-pnumatics.
Electrical components - power supply unit, Switches, Sensors, Relays, Contacts, Contactors, Solenoid.
Valeves: Types of valves - Monostable, Bistable. Mathods of actuation of valves.
Practicals :-
Direct actuation of single acting cylinder in  Electro-pnumatics .
Indirect actuation of single acting cylinder in  Electro-pnumatics .
Direct actuation of double acting cylinders in Electro-Hydraulics & Electro-pnumatics.
Application of various valves (HE converter, PE converter, etc.) to control the cylinder movements using sensors differential circuits & logic functions.

APPLICATION OF PLC ELECTRO-HYDRAULICS AND ELECTRO-PNEUMATICS

Course Contents :-
Introduction to PLC & its Principle, CPU, I/O System , power supply unit.
Programmer unit, differents between PLCs & Computers.
Basic logic functions & shortcuts of statement list.
Statement list programming.
Safety consideration.
Practicals :-
Simple programming with & without using logic function.
Complex programming using logic function with steps in statement list.
Programming with steps in statement list using counter & timer for one cylinder.
Programming with steps in statement list using two counters & two timers for two cylinders.
Programming with steps in statement list using three counters & three timers.
For the sequential operation of two /three cylinders.

APPLICATION OF PROPORTIONAL HYDRAULICS

Course Contents :-
Introduction to Proportional Hydraulics, its applications.
Design of proportional solenoid & its working principle.
Introdution to proportional valves, their types and working principle.
Overlaps in proportional valves & their advantages & disadvantages.
Control edges in propotional valces, their types.
Set point value card, its appilcation,componants & setting.
Propoional Amplifier, its appilcation componants & setting.
Practicals :
Setting  of set point value card & proportional Amplifier.
Actuation of proportional Pressure Relief Value using Set point value card proportoonal Amplifier.
Actuation of Double Acting Cylider using proportional Pressure Relief Value.
and Proportional Directional Control Value.
Functioning of proportional filter.
